In which I think about the rain

So today it has rained all day with a little bit of drizzling here and there for variation. Rain is kind of rubbish for a superhero who has paper based powers. I won't say there is nothing I can do but it does dampen my speed a little bit. Also as my affinity is with crisp dry paper the rain makes me feel sad. However I do like one thing about rain -the joy of being cosy inside. I made this treasury in honour of looking out the window and feeling smug that I am warm and dry.

'Rainy Days and Cozy Warmth' by EccentricAccessories

Trying to show in a collection of items that lovely feeling when you are inside and cosy, maybe with chocolate and a good book and outside it is raining. I love that!

In which I talk about the things in my room

You may have noticed that there is a new banner at the top of the page. It still doesn't look amazing I know but I thought a quick statement at the top that explains why this blog doesnt make any sense -as in there are crazy adventures and fashion in one made place- might help people who come here for the first time.

A while ago I did a post about things I love and today I thought I would do a little post about the things in my room I love the most; mementos, playful toys and things that generally make me happy.
-Representing my playmobil collection that has been featured here a few times:
Yes that's right. A toy wizard. And behind him? A copy of Angela Carter's Book of Fairy Tales. He guards it well.
- Foam practice nun-chucks on the corner of my bookcase. What every hero needs

-My two Japanese style dolls. One from my sister and one from my boyfriend.
-My plate of shiny. The little plate where I drop my jewellery before going to bed.
-My painting given to me by my boyfriend which I tried to put it here but it is only available HUGE from the artist's page. So I would reccommend looking here to see a beautiful piece of art.
-My record collection.
So there we are. Hope you liked some of it.

In which I squee about a pretty dress

Do you ever wear an outfit that makes you completely happy and skippy all day?
This is my such outfit.

I was a little sad that no one noticed its perfection even when I shoved it in their face 'look at me look at me!' I said. 'My ring perfectly matches my outfit!'
And no one cared.
So I was driven to the internet to explain in full detail.

See -the ring has a turquoise button (like my tights) with a navy blue button (like the dress) that has a gold trim (like the dress) and white thread (like the spots) Marvel in its awesomeness!

Also, I like these shoes. :)

Oh and if you like the ring you can buy one just like it from me...
That was a completely shameless plug just then, in case you missed it.

In other news for Valentine's day me and John took down a viscious group who were breeding half-human, half-cat creatures to be future spies. That had been a great plan but we didn't think about what baby/kitten crossovers would be like... too cute to destroy is the answer!
So we handed them over to some motherly aliens we know to look after.

In which I show off other people's stuff rather than mine

The title says it all. Today I am not going to rave on about my own shiny jewellery or squishy hearts but show you some other people's stuff. At the same time however I am tooting my little trumpet because I am showing off other people's stuff in an artistic way. Yes that's right. Etsy treasuries. I said last week I would show you them but Im afraid I got sidetracked by flying to Japan for a few days.
In the mean time this is last weeks:
